GREEN BAY — Filming for a historic thriller began this week in Green Bay, and the director is calling for more than 100 extras to take part in filming early next year.

The independent film “Room 108: The Clearing” is time-traveling thriller set in 1899 and 1999.

The film is based on the urban legend of Green Bay’s Vic Theatre, where opening night for city’s newest theater on February 24, 1900 would prove to be fatal. One century later, seasoned paranormal investigator, Joe Bale, returns to the quiet Northern Wisconsin town to shed more light into the matter.

Filmmaker Freddy Moyano of Green Bay is directing and stars in the film, and is planning the premier for August, 2023.

A writer, artist and filmmaker, Moyano is the founder of Green Bay’s MLC Film Festival.

He’s calling for more than 100 extras for filming on Saturday March 18, 2023.

Extras will be dressed in late 1800s clothes for one of the key scenes in Room 108: The Clearing https://www.imdb.com/title/tt22376062.

It is unpaid but every extra will receive IMDb credit.

Moyano says he anticipates about a 4-6 hour shoot. He says it should be a fun day inside a historical location downtown Green Bay.

If you wish to be an extra you have to join this group and please complete the form on room108themovie.com. READ MORE

While they may have some hats and accessories, every extra will need to come in fully dressed. Moyano says he will arrange a wardrobe day two weeks before for extras to come in to a downtown Green Bay location with options so that we can pick final choices.
