ASHWAUBENON — The village of Ashwaubenon says they’re narrowing in on the source of noise coming from the industrial park that has frustrated neighbors for months.

In a social media post Monday, the village said they have been receiving multiple concerns about a reoccurring noise coming from the industrial park area.

They say they have been diligently trying to pinpoint the source in the industrial park, but it’s been difficult due to the intermittent nature of the sound, wind and metal buildings bouncing the noise around.

However they now think we have it limited to a general block and are working to solve the problem.

Members of the Ashwaubenon Community News’s Facebook group have been complaining about the noise since May.

“Has anyone else in the Waterford park neighborhood heard this humming noise?” One commenter posted on May 19. “It is coming from the industrial park from the Glory Road area and continues on for hours or days. It has been driving me and my neighbors crazy.”

The post included a video with a loud hum clearly audible.

“We hear the annoying droning too and we’re not even real close,” read another comment. “We sleep with a fan on to drown it out at night.”
