UPDATE: Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers confirmed today that he will return to the team, however earlier reports speculating on his contract are inaccurate. (See the Ian Rapoport Tweet below.)
In his own Tweet Tuesday, Rogers wrote, “Hey everyone, just wanted to clear some things up; YES I will be playing with the @packers next year, however, reports about me signing a contract are inaccurate, as are the supposed terms of the contract I “signed”. I’m very excited to be back.”

GREEN BAY — Although still not official, there are more signs pointing to a return to the Green Bay Packers of four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers.
According to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport, Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have agreed to a $200 million deal with their starting quarterback.
Former NFL player and Rodgers’ buddy Pat McAfee said there is not currently a deal in place, but he will be returning to Green Bay. Rodgers is a frequent guest on McAfee’s radio show.
