GREEN BAY — The American Red Cross has an urgent need for blood and platelet donors of all types to help prevent a summer blood shortage.

That’s why the American Red Cross is hosting its 35rd annual Super Donor Day Blood Drive this week at Tundra Lodge Resort, 865 Lombardi Ave., in Green Bay.    

Thursday, July 1
12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday, July 2
6 a.m. to 12 p.m.

During the summer months, blood and platelet donations often do not keep pace with hospital demand.
